Abstract

This edition of the Colombian Social Science Journal covers variety of issues related to interdisciplinary interaction that characterizes our publication with research and reflections that report on contemporary issues in the Latin American zone. An important block of articles refers to violence in several areas: football, the Colombian conflict and school. Thus, in the research conducted in the city of Ibague with people from “barras bravas” (hooligans), a team led by José Alonso Andrade studied the correlation between levels of impulsivity and risk of alcoholism among its football fan- members. In this sense, this article is important to understand this phenomenon and the number of problems of violence associated with it, including the confrontation between football fans, aggression, celebration
rituals involving the consumption of alcohol, taking into account that the average age at which adolescents that join these groups is between 15 and 16 years. On the other hand, Laura Juliana Soto summarizes the findings of research conducted with women victims of forced displacement, which highlights the importance of narrative research in the social sciences to contribute to the construction of a collective memory through individual remembrance; also her article contextualizes the current peace process in the so-called post-conflict. Finally, a daily violence, lived in a microenvironment, is given at school. Although largely when talking about school violence, they immediately think of bullying, a review led by Alexander Echeverri Ochoa on the concept of school violence discovered
other forms of violence, so they use the plural for classification of subjects involved and according to the intentions of these acts of aggression in schools. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales.
