Clarity with things: a day after? Contribution to the debate on the “dispensation of clerical celibacy”

Abstract

It does not have tended to be a matter of theological discussion documents as
the “dispensation from priestly celibacy” Rescript issued by the Congregation
for the clergy. However, its doctrinal elements and the relevant implementation
discipline are an essential part of the way, as in the Roman Catholic Church, they
will continue to live their faith who have received it. An attentive examination of
the text that relieve in the both the presence of the Evangelical criteria as his
possible absence, in the context of the indispensable historical references to
the question of ministerial celibacy and with attention to the conciliar teaching
of Vatican II, contributes a rethinking theological, and as a result canonical, this
kind of administrative measures in the Church
