Identity and difference, basic concepts regarding postmodernity

There currently are several issues people should be familiar with, in a real and efficient manner, in order to access the late modern world. This is the case of the relationship that can be established between modernity and post modernity. The first period is the reflection of liberty, wisdom, fraternity, justice and equality for all men, democracy. While the second one is the continuity of the incomplete ideals of the first one. Post modernity is a time that values, assesses and questions modernity as to whether it fulfilled or not the ideals it proclaimed.
