Hermeneutic approach from a theological perspective to the first act of the play waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett

This paper studies in depth the religious symbolism in the play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett from a hermeneutic exercise of theological type. This dramatic work questions the sense of the existence, to which some try to answer through a religious perspective and others by means of absurdity. For this, dramatic categories evidenced within the play are analyzed.
