Focus

Perseitas is a digital, continuous and open access publication financed by the Editorial Fund of the Universidad Católica Luis Amigó; its main objective is to disseminate scientific knowledge and generate debate in the field of humanities through the publication of research, theoretical reflections and systematizations that are framed in philosophy, theology and humanistic studies that address religious, historical, literary, social, political or aesthetic problems. Perseitas also publishes articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese. With this approach, the journal aims to disseminate the results of national and international research that enrich the study of the humanities with novel and critical perspectives.

Decisions and procedures are governed by criteria of academic quality, research excellence, integrity, honesty and transparency, and the journal adheres to the principles of the Committee of publication ethics (COPE).

Scope

The journal is directed to the national and international public interested in philosophy, theology and humanities. Our work aims to contribute scientific knowledge on complex historical and contemporary issues from disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. For this reason, Perseitas is open to the reception of both recent humanistic studies that are based on a tradition -that of the respective disciplines- and emerging studies that update and propose new and critical perspectives on this tradition.
