Suicidal behavior, a worldwide public health problema

According to data published by the World Health Organization (WHO, 2017), more than 800 thousand people commit suicide every year, and between 10 and 20 million attempt to take their own lives. It is a phenomenon that usually begins with ideations and thoughts of death, then attempts ensue until reaching the consummated suicide, turning it into a conscious act that have the purpose of ending one's own existence (Benavides Mora et al., 2019)....
