Abstract

The main purpose of this article is to describe the concepts of development that displaced families of the
Alto de la Virgen district have. The approach used for this study is qualitative, a descriptive study, under
the case study methodology; which allowed through logical procedures, the interpretation of the meanings
that give it an experience subjects, implying an intense and deep examination of different aspects of the
same The instruments that were used in the study were: chips of analytical content text, memo, Protocol,
interview with depth and interactive techniques.phenomenon.
As a result, there is access to opportunities is presented as a step forward in the development of their
abilities against the generation of income, partially impacting the improvement of the quality of life, but
no major contributions to the socio-economic stabilization because it offers a real opportunity to work
in conditions worthy that they respond to the effective enjoyment of the rights which has the population
displaced. This situation is compounded in addition little financial support from the State and the lack of
strategies that promote projects that will ensure the progress and development of this population.
It can be concluded that development for families displaced from Virgin high is divided into two moments:
A first time that promotes development in the place of origin which is represented from the economic
(housing, food) but with large flaws to level of education and health; and a second time which gives an
account of the development in the place of receipt which shows better opportunities in education and the
informal work and large deterioration in terms of the needs that if they had covered in their village or sidewalk
where they were banished.
