Psychopathology as a mask of existence

Psychopathology is currently analysed and understood from an objectivist perspective, leaving aside the relationship that the subject maintains with his own existence, simply emphasizing what is observable, measurable and quantifiable. From the humanist-existentialist approach, we seek to provide an understanding of it from a phenomenological perspective, which allows us to relate the immediate experience and the construction of the reality of each individual, and how an inconsistency between the two can lead to anguish, and therefore This leads to the denial of freedom, desire, will and intentionality.
