La arquitectura de automatización PROSA es una descripción orientada hacia objetos que implementan sistemas de producción. Un enfoque basadoen sistemas para eventos discretos, detección de eventos y la teoría de control supervisorio, representa el comportamiento de una unidad de producción controlada. Para obtener la descripción orientada a objetos
de esta unidad, se aplicó modelado conceptual y se utilizó el Lenguaje unificado de modelado.
