Un Análisis de la Resistencia de Materiales a partir de los Postulados de “Consideraciones y Demostraciones Matemáticas sobre dos Nuevas Ciencias” de Galileo Galilei

En este trabajo se presenta un análisis de los postulados realizados por Galileo Galilei en su libro ―Consideraciones y demostraciones matemáticas sobre dos nuevas ciencias‖, desde la óptica de los principios modernos de la Resistencia de Materiales. Igualmente se hace un análisis descriptivo y numérico de las proposiciones planteadas por Galileo, como casos particulares de aplicación. Se encontró que estos postulados guardan vigencia actualmente y, aunque son muy básicos para la actualidad, no habrían sido formulados formalmente hasta este momento, sin embargo su importancia radica en su contribución al sentar las bases de la Resistencia de Materiales moderna.Downloads
