Evolución del Concepto del Tiempo Cosmológico

El concepto del tiempo ha evolucionado, desde los antiguos griegos, a lo largo de un período de más de dos mil años. Con el surgimiento de las ciencias particulares, el problema se desplazó desde la filosofía a las ciencias naturales, y la física, como la base de la ciencia fundamental, desempeña un papel esencial en este asunto. A principios del siglo pasado, Einstein revolucionó el concepto de tiempo con la Teoría de la Relatividad. Pero, ¿cuáles son las conexiones lógicas del concepto moderno de tiempo con la filosofía antigua? En este artículo se comparan las ideas de Aristóteles acerca del tiempo con las de la física posterior a Einstein, y se argumenta cómo esta comparación sugiere una interesante interpretación del tiempo en la cosmología moderna.Downloads
