Abstract

Imitative innovation strategy is used by some organizations as a source of competitive advantage in a growing market. The objective of this article is to approach the positions of various authors and review their arguments, allowing a space to generate new contributions. A comparative analysis between scenarios identified and a relationship with certain variables is performed. The conclusion is that strategies can vary greatly from one organization to another and is required a further research and practical studies, especially in Latin America.
