Abstract

This paper follows and analyzes the editorial positions taken by these Colombian
newspapers: EL PAÍS, EL TIEMPO, EL ESPECTADOR, in relation to the start and the
development of the peace process in Havana, Cuba. Differences were established
between the positions assumed by the three aforementioned media, which may relate
either to the origin or to the ideological filiation each periodical has historically defended.
EL TIEMPO and EL ESPECTADOR have clearly and directly supported the peace process
through time. In turn, EL PAIS has shown ambivalent positions in this matter.
