Abstract

The following article pretends to demonstrate the binding character of the Administrative precedent in the Colombian judicial order. In which, through the application of the general principles of the law embodied in the constitution, the interpretation made by the constitutional court, and some legal developments, there is the application of the administrative activity developed by the state. As for the methodology employed in the article, there is a bibliographic analysis of different authors, some verdicts of the constitutional court and some Colombian laws. Thus, this article is descriptive, and it concludes that the administrative precedent finds in the Colombian judicial system, the enough grounds to demonstrate its existence and its binding force in the state administrative entities.
