This reflection article not derived from research is the opinion of the author, from which he defines the concept of cognitive dependence with the intention of helping to make visible a contemporary phenomenon, limiting human spiritual capacities, made possible through the act of delegate, and on which the contemporary ease that threatens to diminish the capacities is sustained. During the development of this text, the possible consequences that the reduction of these capacities can have for the individual persona and for humanity are enunciated and a simple and obvious method is suggested as a strategy that helps to prevent these consequences.
