The popular journal Poiésis publishes the first edition of 2022 (no. 42). The editorial Rubiel Alberto Chica Ríos wrote a vital experience between science and philosophy, a graduate of the psychology program at the Universidad Católica Luis Amigó and a doctoral candidate in psychology, who works as director of mental health and as operational director of the Canadian Human Rights International Organization (CHRIO), Medellín headquarters.

The “Local Collaborators” section contains six articles of various types; the first is entitled Reflections on collaborative learning from the experience of Social Work students at the Luis Amigó Catholic University, in which the authors carry out a conceptual reflection on learning collaborative in the framework of distance education of the students of this program. A second text is entitled Creativity in students with ADHD and high abilities; the author explores new factors associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, a recurrent pathology in the school context. The third text is entitled Epistemological models in the consolidation of social psychology. This reflection article allows us to differentiate the main approaches that have inspired the object of study and the modes of intervention typical of social psychology. The fourth article addresses the effects of phubbing in adult couple relationships, that is, when a person is ignored for paying attention to the mobile, which is entitled Phubbing and adult couple relationships. Following this, the authors will be able to read a reflection derived from state of the art on the etiology of learning difficulties concerning attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, titled Learning difficulties in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in preschoolers: an exploration literature review. The sixth and last text of this section is The meaning of violence and displacement; the author addresses the issue of the experience of displacement due to the violence experienced in Colombia in recent decades.

The second section, “National Collaborators,” contains an interesting article entitled: Psychological elegy for a country on fire; the author reflects on the events that have emerged in Colombia as a result of the national strike of April 28, 2021, thought from the field of social psychology and literature, in order to enter the field of social movements.

The third section, “Reading essays,” includes the production of our students, graduates, and teachers, an activity carried out on October 27, 2021, within the Academic Conference of the Faculty of Psychology and Social Sciences; readers will find three texts. The first is entitled Taking care of the other. The word, alter and mental health in times of pandemic, the author presents a reflection on the function of the word as an act of caring for the other during the pandemic that the world has suffered, contrasting two dimensions: the affectation of discourse and political subject during confinement and how the word gained strength to contribute to the generation of bond and intersubjective care. The second text, Domestic violence as gender violence in the COVID-19 pandemic; here, the authors address the problem of gender violence that was exacerbated during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The third text deals with the impact of pedagogical models on the acquisition of knowledge, seeking to identify their transcendence and emphasizing multiple intelligences model within the students’ learning process; its title is Pedagogical models and their relationship with multiple intelligences as an educational model of the 21st century.
